We are a conduit with our community partners to teaching tolerance, helping enhance life-skills, and preparing our families for the real-world beyond our care. We aspire for the measured impact of our work to decrease and eliminate gang involvement; and to lower substance-related problems due to drug and alcohol use/ abuse. We aim to break the school-to-prison pipeline and to connect our students to employment opportunities and other vocational services.
Our purpose is to provide services that support anger management, social and emotional learning, mentoring and academic tutoring as resources to promote an elevated quality of life for participants and their communities. Our work will focus on correcting the negative impacts of attention and retention disorders; such as Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders (LD), and Behavioral Disorders (Conduct Disorder, Oppositional-Defiant Disorder).
